Black Friday 2013 Deals: iPhone And iPad Apps / Games Gone Free Or On Sale

Black Friday isn’t just a day for getting in line outside your nearest big box retailer in the hope that you’ll be able to snag that big screen TV or the last remaining Furby. These days the fun happens just as much online as it does on the high street, and that goes for digital stores as well. Sales are currently kicking off all over the internet, and Apple’s iOS App Store is no different.

Thanks to developers being eager to take advantage of the hysteria that often surrounds Black Friday and the associated Cyber Monday events, us gamers and fans of all other apps can get some great titles for not a lot of money, with some apps and games even deciding to go free for a short period in order to get themselves further up the app charts. It’s sneaky, but we’re not going to complain!

We’re currently on the lookout for good deals across both the iPhone and iPad’s App Stores, so if you think there are some cheap, or even free apps that we should add to the list then please do let us know. This will be something of a live post, with new titles getting added as and when we notice them. There are already some great apps on sale, and we have a sneaky feeling that this is only the start.

Samsung Giving Away $50 Worth Of Play Store Credit To Galaxy Note 3 Owners [Limited Time Offer]

It has been well documented that neither Samsung’s Galaxy S4 nor its ‘phablet’ Note 3 have exactly surpassed expectations in terms of reception and sales figures, when compared to its direct rivals out in the market, of course. Many have complained that both series have become stale and in need of some rejuvenation, but as the Korean outfit prepares the S5 and Note 4 for release at some point next year, there’s a little treat for those in ownership of the Galaxy Note 3. For current owners and those planning to purchase the larger-than-life handset, the company behind it is offering $50 of Play Store credit to load up on goodies, and although it does happen to be one of the priciest devices on the market, fifty bucks for apps, games, music and such is still a pretty decent offer.

If you’re a long-time Android user, chances are that you’re account is pretty well stocked up, but with developers releasing new and exciting apps and games all the time, a $50 gift voucher will help you accumulate a few more this holiday season.

This is particularly good news if you already own the Note 3, since you’re truly getting something for free, but if you were considering the device, now would be a pretty good time to make the investment.

The promotional offer is available until January 6th, so there’s no particular hurry, and this will allow those receiving the handset as a holiday gift to cash in on the Play Store credit.

If you own the Galaxy Note 3, all you gave to do is head over to Samsung’s specially-made site, which you can access by heading over to samsungnote3.prizelogic.com, fill your personal details as well as your device’s IMEI number (found within the Settings app), and away you go.
