This is application to bind directories located on external_sd to directories on internal memory (/sdcard/). This way You can transfer large application data directories to external sd card. Could be usefull with for example Games or Application as GPS (using big memory/data).
Please take note that I was successfull install & using on my Samsung Galaxy S3 and must be ROOTED.
Applications & Games that successful on my phone:-
1) Sygic
2) TomTom
3) NDrive
3) 9mm
4) NeedForSpeedShift etc...
Step To Get It Working
1) Rooted Phone
2) Install DirectoryBind (Latest Version 0.2.0o)
3) Install Explorer File
Features:
ü Requires ROOT !
ü Aimed at specific functionality and features (not idiot-proof)
ü You can create any number of Data -> Target directory pairs, mount them manually or choose to mount them on system boot (checkbox does that).
ü On/Off switch controls whole mount-on-boot function.
ü Diskette icon indicates if mount operation was successful, by taping it You can mount/umount entry.
ü Icon changes if application is using mounted entry
ü DirectoryBind can tell what application is using this entry (tap at entry in use)
ü Long tap on entry (disabled) brings edit/delete window
ü App auto umount all entries on USB connected and remount after USB disconnected (for now via BroadcardReceiver UMS_CONNECTED / UMS_DISCONNECTED)
ü App shows notification and vibrates if auto umount on USB fails
ü If mounting all checked entries (ex. on boot) app is waiting specified time (def. 60 sec) if data directory is not available (happens sometimes at boot)
ü Tested sucessfully with Asphalt 6, Shadowgun, DeadSpace, CamScanner
Color Indicator (Dissette)
GRAY - entry disabled
RED - mount failed
BLUE - waiting for data availability
GREEN - mounted OK
Important! ISSUE WITH ENTRIES DISAPPEARING AFTER REBOOT - In preferences check "alternate dbase mgmt" and try again.
