How to fix Safari/Calculator/Weather & other Apple Stock Apps crash! No need to make full restore.

Why CRASH?
Most of reason happened because installed the wrong Appsync in iOS7.x. At the moment no one perfect AppSync for iOS7 yet.

I will guide step by step how to solve it. Easy and simple!

How?

1. Go to Cydia-Manage-Packages. Uninstall if there any Appsync even iOS7.x Appsync.
2. Reboot not Respring your iDevice.
3. Using iFile, delete these 2 files : com.apple.mobile.installation.plist and com.apple.LaunchServices-045.csstore where are located in var/mobile/library/caches. You also can delete these file using iFunBox (PC). 
4. Let say file named com.apple.LaunchServices-045.csstore" is not available, no problem. Let it missing.
5. Reboot again.
6. Some apps/folders are missing (hiding actually) after the reboot. It's normal, they will show back after steps below.
7. Install Appsync for iOS7.x only! Add this repo http://cydia.appaddict.org
8. Reboot
9. DONE!

Note : Some User advised to avoid installing afc2add until get right Appsync for iOS7.x!

Langkah Mudah Menyekat Iklan di iPhone/iPad Anda (Kemaskini 13 Januari 2014)

Kredit diberi kepada Pemilik Asal hosts file (Mr Bawbag McGee) yg bekerja keras untuk membina dan kemaskini senarai iklan yg akan di sekat melalui hosts file. Anda boleh follow beliau di Tweeter https://twitter.com/bawbagmcgee

Penting! iPhone/iPad anda mesti di Jailbreak. Simpan hosts file asal jika ingin digunakan balik. Hosts file yg dikemaskini akan menyekat iklan di Cydia dan apa saja iklan di Tweaks atau Application/Games di iPhone anda.

Terdapat 2 langkah untuk menyekat iklan.

1) Manual : Menggunakan iPhone melalui iFile (kena install) atau di PC anda melalui applikasi seperti Diskaid, Winscp, iTools atau iFunbox. Langkah yg ditunjukkan ini menggunakan iFunBox.

a) Sambung iPhone anda ke PC dan buka iFunBox. Pergi ke Raw File System dan cari "etc". Di dalam "etc" ada file bernama hosts. Simpan hosts asal ini ke PC anda.

b) Sekarang muat turun file hosts di Hosts File. Unzip rar file ini dan anda akan dapat hosts file yg telah diubahsuai. Kembali ke etc dan gantikan dgn hosts yg di muat turun ini yang disediakan oleh Mr Bawbag.

c) Respring dan iklan tiada lagi!

2) Repo : Melalui repo. Tidak perlu langkah di atas lagi mudah!

a) Buka Cydia di iPhone anda.
b) Navigate ke Manage / Sources kemudian Edit / Add. Letak repo baru seperti  berikut:-http://cydia.myrepospace.com/basic
c) Kemudian cari dan install BaSic-AdBlocker7 V1.0.2
d) Respring dan siap!


TIPS UNTUK LEBIH BERKESAN MENYEKAT IKLAN
Di iPhone anda, navigate ke : Settings> Privacy> Location Services. Skrol ke bawah dan klik 'System Services' dan turn OFF Location based iAds. 

Iklan bergantung kepada lokasi dimana kita berada. Turn off ini akan membantu membuat sekatan iklan lebih banyak. Tiada ikon baru ditambah tetapi hosts file akan berubah untuk sekatan iklan.

Step To Remove Any Ads On Jailbroken iPhone/iPad (Updated 13 Januari 2014)

Credit must be given to the owner of hosts file (Mr Bawbag McGee) who very hard work to create and updating the hosts file. For update, you can follow his tweet at https://twitter.com/bawbagmcgee

Very Important! Your iPhone must be Jailbroke. Backup original hosts file for future step. All ads at Cydia/Tweaks/Application or Games will be blocked!

There are two step to block the ads.

1) Manual : Using iPhone through iFile or PC like Diskaid, Winscp, iTools or iFunbox. This step Im using iFunBox.

a) Connect your iPhone and open iFunBox. Go to Raw File System and navigate to "etc" and file named hosts. Save the original to your PC.

b) Now download this file - Hosts File. Unzip the rar file. Go back to etc and replace the hosts file to this provided by Mr Bawbag.

c) Respring and your done!

2) Repo : Using repo no need to mod/save/replace. Easy.

a) Open Cydia

b) Navigate to Manage / Sources then Edit / Add. Put new repo as http://cydia.myrepospace.com/basic

c) Find and install BaSic-AdBlocker7 V1.0.2

d) Respring and done!

TIPS TO GET MORE EFFECTIVE BLOCKING

Navigating to : Settings> Privacy> Location Services. Scroll to the bottom and click 'System Services' And turn OFF Location based iAds. 

Ads will differ to your ads based on our locations. Disabling this will help me block ads overall. 

No new icons will be added but hosts file will be changed to block ads.

Langkah Mudah Membuat Ringtones Untuk iPhone Anda Tanpa Jailbreak

Keperluan

1. Lagu (mp3)
2. Windows Pc
3. iTunes
4. iPhone & cable

Note : Langkah di bawah menggunakan iTunes 11, Windows 7.

Langkah-Langkahnya

1. Buka iTunes pergi ke library music.
2. Pergi ke File pilih lagu/add file to library yang diperlukan di folder dimana lagu itu disimpan di PC.
3. Right click pada lagu yang mahu dibuat ringtone, pilih get info-option, pilih start time yang diingini dan pilih stop time (tempoh maksimum untuk setiap lagu yg ingin dibuat ringtone adalah 30 saat). Tekan OK.
4. Right click pada lagu tadi dan pilih Create AAC Version dan lagu baru akan di create baru berdasarkan tempoh 30 saat tadi. JIKA TIADA option Create AAC Version, pergi ke Edit-Preferences-General-Import Settings. Pilih Import Using AAC Encoder. Done.
5. Right click pada lagu yang telah di create tadi dan pilih Show In Windows Explorer dan secara automatik folder dimana lagu tadi disimpan akan display. Format asal lagu tadi adalah .m4a dan anda kena tukar kepada extension .m4r.
6. Delete lagu asal di iTunes anda iaitu lagu sebelum di edit dan selepas edit untuk ringtone.
7. Kemudian pilih Library Tones. Pergi ke File pilih lagu/add file to library dan pergi ke folder dimana lagu yg telah ditukar ke extension .m4r disimpan. Pilih lagu itu dan tekan Open. Lagu tadi akan muncul di Library Tones iTunes anda.
8. Sambungkan iPhone anda ke PC. Kemudian click icon iPhone disebelah iTunes Store, Pilih Tones-Check Sync Tones samada All Tones atau Selected Tones dan Tekan Sync di bawah.
9. Berjaya!

How To Make Full Restore/Update Your iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch?

1. Please backup your device using iTunes before do the restore/update.
2. Downloading required firmware following to the above link.
3. Connect your device to the Pc/Mac (make sure your internet active).
4. Open iTunes at your Pc/Mac.
5. For Mac users hold down the Option key, while Windows users should hold down the Shift key. Then click on the Update or Restore button, find folder where you saved the IPSW file you downloaded and click Choose.
6. Then your device should now begin to update and reboot as new.
7. Choose either restore the data you have backup on your iTunes or create as a new.

1. Pastikan anda off (disable) password! Boleh di on kan selepas jailbreak berjaya!

Latest Tinyumbrella iOS 7.0.4 Support!

After a long vacation… ok not really a vacation. After a long time away, I updated TinyUmbrella for 7.0.4 support. The support is limited as restoring local firmware is severely hindered on newer devices. Older devices (iPhone 3GS in particular and some iPhone 4 devices – with help) can still benefit from local restores if even in a small way.

I’m still looking into other mechanisms to bring back local restores and if anything comes up I will post it.
